The Levenhuk Wezzer PLUS LP80 is a home weather station that can be controlled via an app on a smartphone or tablet using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The station comes with a wireless remote sensor that allows you to monitor changes in the microclimate both outside and inside your home. The station’s base unit can be placed on a piece of furniture or a windowsill, whilst the sensor can be mounted on a wall up to 100 metres away from the base.
The main advantage of the Levenhuk Wezzer PLUS LP80 weather station is the ability to view a five-day weather forecast, displayed in blocks with large icons on the LCD screen. In addition, the values measured by the base station are shown, along with the date, day of the week and exact time. The station stores the maximum and minimum temperature readings. It is also possible to set alerts should temperature thresholds be exceeded either outside or inside the home. The threshold values can be set by the user.
The weather station can be powered by batteries or via the mains. When the weather station is powered by the mains, it can be connected to a mobile device via Wi-Fi. This allows you to access the ‘Tuya Smart’ app and monitor weather changes in real time, directly from your smartphone, without having to consult external sources for weather forecasts.
