L.G.R eyewear is entirely handmade in Italy by three families of artisans, who craft each frame from start to finish using traditional methods. The result is an authentic, refined pair of glasses, designed to be a long-lasting companion for the wearer.
The brand’s story began in 2005 in Asmara, Eritrea. In his grandfather’s old optician’s shop, Luca Gnecchi Ruscone rediscovered some vintage Italian frames: from that convergence of family memories, Africa and the Riviera, L.G.R took shape.
Carefully crafted acetate, minimalist metalwork and distinctive shapes give life to collections of sunglasses and prescription glasses that are a world away from mass-produced items.
