The frame you choose, fitted with prescription lenses checked by an optician.
On many eyeglasses and sunglasses you can add prescription lenses directly online: choose the frame, see the full price straight away and reach checkout in just a few steps. If you do not have your prescription to hand, you can complete the order and send it later.

Lens prices are always shown for the pair. Before checkout you see the frame, lenses, selected options and total. Standard shipping in Italy is free on orders over 70 euro.
How it works

Choose your frame
When a model can be fitted with prescription lenses, you will find the option to turn it into prescription eyewear. If a frame is not suitable, such as some goggles or very wrapped shapes, we do not offer the service.

Choose your lenses
Where available, you can choose original brand lenses. Alternatively, you can select Isolani Prima Linea or Isolani Top lenses, with clear options for sunglasses, thinner lenses, progressive lenses, anti-reflective, photochromic or tinted lenses.

Send your details, even later
You can upload a photo of your prescription, enter the details manually or send them after placing the order by WhatsApp or email. We always check everything before production starts.
Which lenses you can choose
- Original lenses
For Ray-Ban, Oakley, Maui Jim and other brands where available. Maui Jim is managed as an original prescription version with the same model, colour and lens treatment selected. - Isolani Prima Linea
The best value solution: prescription lenses for everyday use, checked and fitted by our opticians. - Isolani Top
A premium lens for sharper, clearer vision and a better aesthetic result, especially for stronger prescriptions or more complex needs. - Clear, sun and progressive lenses
Single-vision, progressive/multifocal, clear, sunglass tinted, photochromic, anti-reflective, polarised or mirrored lenses where compatible.
Before production, we check it ourselves
One of our qualified opticians or optometrists checks the prescription, centration, frame compatibility, lens colour and final result before production. If a detail is missing or something does not look right, we contact you before going ahead.

Can I order if I do not have my prescription right away?
Yes. Choose "I will send it after the order": complete your purchase and we will contact you before production to receive or check the details.
Is the price I see the final price?
The summary shows the frame, the pair of prescription lenses, selected options and total before checkout. We do not promise unrealistic prices that change at the last step.
How long does it take to receive the glasses?
As a guide, prescription glasses take around 10 working days, except for special cases or additional technical checks.
Can prescription eyewear be tax deductible?
Prescription eyewear may be eligible for tax deduction in Italy. You can find more details on the page about eyewear tax deduction.
Are you only an online shop?
No. Isolani is an optical institute with 12 physical optical centres: if you need assistance, a check or advice, real people follow your order.
