The Levenhuk Wezzer Cook MT60 thermometer, with two temperature probes mounted on flexible cables, is an extremely useful tool in the kitchen. It allows you to measure the temperature of two dishes being cooked in two different places at the same time. For example, the contents of a saucepan on the hob and a steak on the grill. Thanks to the option to set an alert for when the temperature is exceeded, the thermometer can notify you if the cooking temperature is higher than the set threshold. This prevents meat from burning or cake batter from becoming too dry. There is also a built-in timer.
The main function of the probe thermometer is that of a standard thermometer capable of measuring a wide range of temperatures. For example, in an emergency, it can be used in place of a standard clinical thermometer to measure body temperature. It is also useful for measuring the temperature of bathwater or the ambient temperature, both indoors and outdoors. If you take the probe thermometer with you when travelling, you can check the condition of food stored in a cool box. It can also be helpful when preparing teas and herbal teas, the quality of which is particularly sensitive to the infusion temperature.
The temperature readings are displayed on the built-in monochrome backlit screen. The control buttons are located below the screen: you can use them to select which probe to use and the unit in which to display the measurements (°C or °F).
The device is powered by two standard batteries. To save energy, there is an automatic switch-off function for both the backlight and the entire device.
