The Levenhuk Wezzer Cook MT40 kitchen thermometer is a useful culinary tool that can measure the cooking temperature of food and alert you if it gets too high. Thanks to this temperature probe, your meat will never burn again and your cakes will always be light and well-baked.
The Levenhuk Wezzer Cook MT40 can also serve as a versatile household thermometer, as it can measure the temperature of air, water and even soil. It will accurately display the temperature when placed in a cool box or in a cup of brewing tea. If necessary, the probe thermometer can even be used as a medical thermometer to measure body temperature in the event of illness.
This device can measure food temperature in °C and °F. The range of measurable temperatures is very wide, which broadens its potential applications. The robust design of this device ensures it can be used continuously for many years. The body is made of ABS plastic, in accordance with IP65 protection standards: the device is protected against accidental splashes and even if dropped into water.
The measured temperature readings are displayed on the thermometer’s built-in screen. The large digits are easy to read and a backlight is available. The buttons are located to the side of the screen: °C/°F (unit conversion), ‘HOLD’ (keeps the current temperature visible on the screen) and ‘ALARM/SET’ (to access the settings).
The device is battery-powered. The automatic switch-off function is designed to reduce energy consumption. The screen backlight switches off automatically after 5 seconds, whilst the device switches off after 10 minutes of inactivity.
