The Levenhuk LabZZ TK60 telescope is the perfect gift for school-age children interested in astronomy. It is particularly well suited to observing the Moon and terrestrial objects. All the necessary accessories are included in the box. No special skills are required to use this telescope. A carrying case is also included. It can hold the telescope and its full set of accessories, making them easy to transport and store.
The telescope’s optical design is that of a classic achromatic refractor. Thanks to its anti-reflective coated glass optics, the telescope delivers a clear, high-quality image. The objective lens has a diameter of 60 mm, which is suitable for the main observation target: the Moon. It is, however, possible to observe more distant objects, though their details will remain indistinguishable.
The optical tube is mounted on an azimuth fork mount. This is a basic mount, typical of beginner’s telescopes, but it is also fitted with a handy micrometric screw on the vertical axis. This allows you to adjust the telescope, centring it on the desired object smoothly and precisely. The mount is attached to an aluminium tripod. An accessories tray can be positioned between the tripod legs. The height of the tripod is adjustable.
The kit includes a wide range of optical accessories, so there is no need to purchase them separately.
