Levenhuk Ra R72 ED Doublet Optical Tube

The Levenhuk Ra R72 ED doublet optical tube is a practical optical instrument. The primary use of this telescope is astrophotography, but it is also suitable for direct observations of the sky, including the planets of the Solar System and a variety of deep-sky objects. It produces high-contrast images, allows you to observe even the faintest stars and offers an excellent field of view. All things considered, this optical tube is quite compact and lightweight – a definite advantage on long excursions.

This optical tube assembly (OTA) is an apochromatic refractor with extra-low dispersion optics. It minimises chromatic aberrations, particularly second-order aberrations and spherochromatism. Its objective lens fully utilises the aperture’s potential, producing high-resolution images and allowing you to observe the finest details of astronomical objects. The optical tube’s mechanics are precisely calibrated and operate flawlessly, allowing you to focus solely on your observations. Thanks to the dual-speed 2-inch Crayford focuser, you can adjust the focus extremely smoothly.

The tube body is made of aluminium with a high-quality black finish. The quick-release wing screw allows this OTA to be mounted on most modern mounts. The kit includes a sturdy aluminium case for protection and transport.
