Levenhuk Blitz 70 PLUS Telescope

The Levenhuk Blitz 70 PLUS achromatic refractor is an excellent choice for budding astronomers. With this instrument, you can observe the planets of the Solar System and their moons, some deep-sky objects and detailed images of the Moon. This telescope can also be used for terrestrial observations.

It features anti-reflective coated glass lenses. The optics deliver a clear and sharp image, free from optical distortions. The kit includes three eyepieces for exploring space and a right-angle eyepiece for terrestrial observations, as well as a Barlow lens and a mirrored diagonal to vary the magnification during observations. However, if the set supplied is not sufficient, you can always purchase additional accessories. The telescope is fitted with a standard 31.75-millimetre (1.25-inch) focuser, making it compatible with most accessories available on the market.

The equatorial mount is hand-operated. A counterweight is required for balancing. Focusing is carried out using two slow-motion control knobs. The height of the aluminium tripod is adjustable. It also features an accessory tray.
