The Levenhuk Blitz 76 BASE telescope is a Newtonian reflector with a spherical primary mirror. It is a model designed for beginners, but it allows you to observe many objects in outer space and the deep sky. You can study the Moon, Earth-like planets and binary stars, as well as large open and globular clusters. Almost all objects in the Messier catalogue can be observed, albeit with limited detail.
Its optics are made of glass with an anti-reflective coating. As a result, the image produced by the telescope is sharp and clear. You can observe objects with good clarity at magnifications of up to 152x. Thanks to the kit including three eyepieces with different focal lengths and a 2x Barlow lens, you can work with a wide range of lens combinations.
With the azimuth fork mount, using the telescope is as easy as using a terrestrial spotting scope. To centre the telescope on your chosen object, simply rotate the optical tube in the desired direction: up, down, right or left. The mount is fitted with a micrometric screw on the vertical axis, allowing you to align the telescope accurately and smoothly. The aluminium tripod is height-adjustable and features an accessory tray.
