The Levenhuk Skyline BASE 70T is perfect for your first forays into space observation. This refractor is not only easy to use, but also produces a sharp, detailed image of the Moon’s surface or terrestrial objects. Thanks to an extended kit that includes various optical accessories, the Levenhuk Skyline BASE 70T allows you to observe several planets in the Solar System and some deep-sky objects. Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, double stars and faint stars, as well as globular and open clusters, feature on the list of observable objects.
The telescope’s lenses are made of fully coated glass. This ensures a sharp, high-contrast image that remains detailed even when observing at maximum magnification. A 6x optical finder and a classic altazimuth mount are used to precisely point the optical tube towards the object being observed. Operation is simple and intuitive and poses no difficulty even for novice observers.
A wide range of accessories are available for observing straight out of the box: two eyepieces, a Barlow lens and a mirror prism. These are fully compatible with the telescope and allow you to observe the sky at the highest practical magnification. A mirrored diagonal is used for studying terrestrial landscapes: it corrects distortion.
In addition to the optical accessories, the kit includes a stable and reliable aluminium tripod. A handy accessory tray is attached to the tripod. The tripod features adjustable legs.
