In addition to taking individual measurements, it is also possible to carry out an automatic room scan. The Ermenrich Reel GD100 laser measure is a multi-purpose tool capable of performing numerous functions in the fields of mechanical engineering, construction and renovation. It is particularly suitable for measuring linear distances, areas and volumes in large spaces, up to 100 metres per side. In addition to taking individual measurements, it is also possible to carry out an automatic room scan. The data is displayed on a 3-line LCD screen and the instrument’s memory can store up to 20 sets of measured values. The instrument can be operated without audible signals.

The Pythagorean theorem function is another key feature of the Ermenrich Reel GD100 laser measuring device. It can automatically calculate the distance between two points based on intermediate measurements and is useful when it is difficult to move around the work area or in areas with restricted access. The ergonomic design allows the instrument to be held with one hand, without the need for a tripod or other accessories. This laser distance metre is powered by 2 AAA batteries; one set of batteries provides over 5,000 measurements. If the instrument remains inactive for a certain period of time, the auto-off function will first deactivate the laser beam and then switch off the instrument itself.
