The Levenhuk LX1500 is a laser rangefinder designed for hunting, sport and military tactics games, hiking, and any situation where you need to measure distances, angles and speeds in open terrain. It can measure distances from 5 to 1,500 metres. This instrument is very compact and lightweight, making it easy to handle. It can also be mounted on a tripod if you wish to obtain steadier images. Furthermore, the rangefinder can be used as a standard monocular with 6x magnification.

Both single and continuous (scanning) distance measurement modes are available. In scanning mode, measurements are taken in real time and the measured values—which are updated rapidly—can be viewed directly through the eyepiece. This mode is used to calculate the distance to a moving target. There is also a slope mode, with tilt compensation, which is useful for golfers. Another function is the flag detection mode: the device locates a single, small target and vibrates when detection is complete.

The rangefinder is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery. It features an automatic switch-off function to conserve battery life. This device can be recharged from an AC mains socket via a USB cable (included; AC adapter to be purchased separately).
