Levenhuk LX700 Laser Rangefinder for Hunting

The Levenhuk LX700 laser rangefinder is a compact, lightweight instrument that measures distances and angles, as well as calculating the speed of moving objects. It offers fast performance, low power consumption and high measurement accuracy. It can be aimed at targets of various sizes, ranging from large ones (such as buildings or trees) to relatively small ones (such as flagpoles or small wild animals). This instrument can measure distances of up to 700 metres.

The optics provide 6x magnification, so the rangefinder can also be used as a standard monocular. The rangefinder has two operating modes: a single distance measurement mode and a scan mode. In scan mode, measurements can be taken continuously, which is useful when, for example, you want to measure the distance to a moving object. There is also a flag detection mode, used to measure the distance to a single small object within the field of view. The device quickly locates the object and vibrates once it has locked onto its position. There is also a slope mode. In slope mode, all measurements are displayed in real time.

The device is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery which can be recharged using the included USB cable (AC mains adapter not included). It features an automatic switch-off function to conserve battery life. Although designed to be held in the hand, the device is also fitted with a 1/4” thread, allowing it to be mounted on a standard tripod for greater stability.
