The Levenhuk Halo 13x digital monocular night vision device is fitted with a built-in recorder and can therefore be used both for visual observations and for taking photographs and recording videos. The device works effectively in complete darkness. In daylight, it can also be used as a standard monocular. The Levenhuk Halo 13x is an excellent choice for night-time hunting, orienteering, military exercises and patrols.
Detection range in total darkness: up to 300 metres
The optics are made of glass with a silicon dioxide anti-reflective coating. Thanks to this feature, the monocular provides a clear, high-contrast image in the dark, whilst during the day it produces detailed and bright images. During the day, you can observe any object at any distance. At night, the viewing range extends up to 300 metres. We recommend using IR illumination for better image clarity in complete darkness. There are 7 brightness levels, so you can adjust them according to the actual lighting conditions. To conserve battery life, use the lowest brightness level, whilst the highest level is useful for a more detailed image.
Photo and video recording (1280x960 pixels)
Thanks to the built-in recorder, the device can take photos and record videos. The data is saved to a memory card (included) and can be transferred to a computer via a USB cable. The maximum image resolution is 1280x960 pixels. However, if necessary, this can be reduced to 640x480 pixels. Videos are recorded at 30fps, regardless of the image resolution, so they are always smooth and a pleasure to watch.
Up to 10 hours’ battery life without needing to change the batteries
The monocular features a water-resistant body with a 1/4” thread. Thanks to its ergonomic design, the monocular is comfortable to hold. The device’s controls are very easy to use. This monocular night vision device is powered by AA batteries (not included), given their convenience when operating in the field. Discharged batteries can be easily replaced with new ones, whilst recharging them in the field would be extremely difficult. The device has a battery life of 4 to 10 hours on a single set of batteries, depending on the backlight intensity.
Please note that the device can display an image in colour, black and white, fluorescent green or with a negative effect. However, the colour image is not available when night mode is active.
