The lenses are coated and made from extra-low dispersion (ED) glass

Extra-low dispersion (ED) optics eliminate stray light reflections from the final image – that is, the halos that appear at the edges of the image due to the specific characteristics of refracted light. Chromatic aberrations are eliminated across the entire field of view, both at the centre and at the edges. The monocular provides 10x magnification, with an objective lens that performs perfectly in low-light conditions. The objective lens gathers a great deal of light, ensuring that the image remains clear and high-contrast even when observing at twilight or in cloudy weather.
