The Levenhuk D85L LCD microscope is designed to examine slides containing samples with varying degrees of transparency at magnifications ranging from 40x to 1600x. This microscope is also equipped with a 2 MP camera that can take photographs of samples and record videos of the observations made. The data is stored on a memory card. Another distinctive feature of this model is its large 7-inch LCD screen, which is perfect for a detailed and comprehensive examination of samples.
The optical system comprises achromatic objective lenses with different magnification factors. The total optical magnification ranges from 40x to 400x; digital magnification extends up to 1600x. The image is displayed on the screen in real time and in high resolution, allowing any microstructure to be identified. The control buttons positioned on the side panel and at the rear give the instrument a simple, streamlined appearance. Focus adjustment is both macrometric and micrometric.
Specimens are secured to the stage using a specimen holder and a disc diaphragm. The illumination is combined: there are LEDs positioned on both sides of the stage. A brightness adjustment function is provided. The illumination can be powered either from the AC mains or by batteries.
The microscope body is made of metal; the optical components are made of glass.
