Levenhuk 400M Monocular Microscope

The Levenhuk 400M monocular microscope is designed for laboratory research on biological samples. It produces sharp, high-contrast images and allows samples to be observed at magnifications ranging from 40x to 400x. This microscope is also suitable for use in medical, educational and research settings. The microscope is fitted with a built-in LED light, powered by rechargeable batteries or via the mains.

The optical system comprises a wide-field eyepiece and achromatic objectives with various magnifications. The overall magnification of this optical system makes it suitable for use with medium to large specimens. For added convenience, the monocular head is tilted at 45° and rotates through 360°. These features make the microscope ideal for both individual and group work.

The stage is fitted with two clamps; immediately below this is an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm. Optical filters can be fitted using a special holder (the kit includes three filters: blue, green and yellow). Focusing is achieved via a classic coaxial mechanism. Both coarse and fine focus adjustment are available.

The illumination system consists of an LED light with a reflector. It is located at the base of the microscope. The system is equipped with brightness control. Thanks to its battery power supply (included in the kit), the Levenhuk 400M is a portable device that can also be used in places without mains power.

The body is made of metal, which makes the microscope durable and ensures a long service life.
