The Levenhuk MED D35T trinocular digital microscope, featuring an LCD screen, is designed for professional investigations of the microscopic world in the fields of medicine, biochemistry, classical biology and other scientific disciplines. It is ideal for a clinical diagnostics laboratory or a university department. The microscope is equipped with a digital camera and an LCD screen, allows for Köhler illumination to be set up, and supports oil immersion. The microscope uses planachromatic lenses, which allow for observation at magnifications ranging from 40x to 1000x.
Planachromatic optics with infinity correction
The Levenhuk MED 35 series microscopes are fitted with an infinity-corrected optical system, as used in professional and high-end microscopes. This system comprises planachromatic objectives and delivers clear, high-contrast images with excellent flatness.
One of the most important features of the infinity-corrected optical system is that it allows additional components to be fitted into the optical path between the objective lens and the eyepiece. These additional components include a polariser, epi-fluorescence unit and phase-contrast devices. Overall, the modular design and ease of use make Levenhuk MED 35 microscopes ideal instruments for use in various fields of microscopy, including work in haematology, histology and microbiology laboratories, and many others.
Rotating head with beam splitter
A trinocular head with a beam splitter consists of a binocular viewing unit and a vertical tube for mounting a digital camera. The kit includes two 10x wide-field eyepieces with dioptre adjustment, used for visual observations, and a 5 MP digital camera. The camera transmits the image to a built-in LCD screen in real time. This makes laboratory work simpler and more comfortable, whilst also reducing strain on the eyes and shoulder joints, as there is no need to look through the eyepieces. The LCD screen is used to configure all the camera settings (selection of recording modes, storage options, etc.) and image processing; there is no need to connect to a computer.
Digital Capabilities
The digital camera allows you to record videos and take high-resolution photographs. Furthermore, the camera supports the connection of additional devices (keyboard, mouse, headphones, external monitor or TV) and is compatible with memory cards and other data storage media. The software allows you to adjust image size, brightness and contrast, exposure time and white balance, calibrate the camera and lenses, as well as measure samples and structures (various units of measurement available). Furthermore, the programme enables particle size analysis.
Optical glass with anti-fog coating
A rotating lens turret allows for the installation of up to five lenses. The kit includes planachromatic lenses with various magnifications. The lenses eliminate achromatic aberrations, provide a flat field of view and improve colour rendering. The higher-magnification objectives are fitted with spring-loaded mounts, and the 100x objective can be used for oil immersion. Both coarse and fine focus adjustment are available.
Working comfortably with slides
Specimens are secured to the stage, which is fitted with a mechanical graduated scale. The stage can be moved along two axes. Beneath the stage is a lighting unit consisting of a halogen lamp with brightness control. There is also an Abbe condenser, fitted with an iris diaphragm and a filter holder. The light is powered by an AC power supply.

Please note:
for information on the correct mains voltage, please refer to the specifications table. Never attempt to connect a 110 V device to a 220 V mains socket, or vice versa, without using a voltage converter. Please note that the mains voltage is 220–240 V in most European countries and 110 V in the United States and Canada.
