The Levenhuk MED 10M monocular microscope is designed for carrying out laboratory research on samples at magnifications of up to 1000x. This professional optical instrument features achromatic optics and fine focus adjustment for any bright-field observation. The Levenhuk MED 10M microscope is an excellent choice for equipping a medical centre, a scientific research centre, a clinical and diagnostic laboratory, or a university microbiology department.
The microscope has a monocular head with a practical 45° tilt angle, which allows for comfortable, extended observations. The 360° rotatable head enables this microscope to be used for group research. The optical system utilises achromatic elements with an anti-fungal coating. The objective lenses and one eyepiece are coated with this protective layer. The rotating objective holder contains four objective lenses, two of which are spring-loaded. A 100x objective lens can be used for observations employing an immersion method (a bottle of immersion oil is included in the kit). An eyepiece provides a clear field of view and features dioptre adjustment.
Coarse and fine focus controls are used to adjust the sharpness. A mechanical stage is fitted with a mechanical scale and can be moved along two axes. Beneath it is an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm and a filter holder. Illumination is provided by a powerful 5W LED light. This is located at the base of the microscope. The illumination is powered by either a mains adapter or batteries. The illumination system also features brightness adjustment.

Warning:
For information on the correct mains voltage, please refer to the specifications table; never attempt to connect a 110 V device to a 220 V mains socket, or vice versa, without using a converter. Please note that the mains voltage is 220–240 V in most European countries and 110 V in the United States and Canada.
