The Levenhuk D740T digital microscope is designed both for observation through the eyepiece and for transmitting data to a PC monitor. The microscope is fitted with a modern 5 Mpx camera that attaches to the eyepiece tube to transmit images to a PC screen in real time. As the microscope is fitted with a trinocular head, you can always view the specimen through the eyepieces (with one eye, or in our case, both).
The microscope offers a wide range of magnifications: from 40x to 2000x. To select the appropriate magnification, simply rotate the objective revolver and change the eyepieces. The kit includes four achromatic objectives (including an immersion lens) and two sets of eyepieces.
The Levenhuk D740T microscope is designed for observing transparent specimens. The illumination system is positioned beneath the stage and features a convenient brightness control. The light source is a 3 W LED. Its brightness is continuously adjustable over a wide range. The illumination is powered by the mains (power cable included). The light from the source is directed towards an Abbe condenser fitted with an iris diaphragm. By adjusting the aperture diameter, the light beam can be focused on the desired area. Coarse and fine adjustment is carried out using a focus knob.
The microscope stage is fitted with metal clamps to securely hold the specimen in place and can be moved both vertically and horizontally. The body is made of metal.
In addition, the microscope kit includes the Levenhuk D740T digital camera and its accessories. When fitted in place of an eyepiece, the camera will display everything happening under the objective lens on the screen of a connected PC. This feature can be used for presentations or to save the results of your research as photos or videos for future use. The Levenhuk software (included in the kit) allows you to edit the images you have taken: resizing, adjusting brightness and contrast, cropping images, and so on.
The kit includes everything you need to get started. The digital camera comes with an installation CD, which contains the necessary software and drivers. The Levenhuk D740T and its camera are compatible with Windows, Linux and Mac OS.

Warning: Please refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110 V device into a 220 V socket, or vice versa, without using a converter. Please note that the mains voltage in the United States and Canada is 110 V, and 220–240 V in most European countries.
