Levenhuk 740T – a microscope with a trinocular head, enabling biological studies to be carried out using a combination of traditional observation methods and modern technology. The trinocular head allows any digital camera compatible with a 23.2 mm diameter eyepiece tube to be fitted.
The microscope is fitted with bottom illumination, which means that only transparent specimens can be observed. The light intensity is adjustable over a wide range. An Abbe condenser repeatedly amplifies the light beam and directs it precisely onto the area of interest. This microscope allows for observations in brightfield mode. Oil immersion is also possible.
The objective revolver is designed to hold four objective lenses. By combining these with interchangeable eyepieces offering various magnification factors, a wide range of pre-set magnifications between 40x and 2000x can be achieved. All the eyepieces included in the kit are paired.
The trinocular head is tilted at 45° and rotates 360° around its axis. This is particularly convenient for group work, or where it is useful to allow several people to view the specimen: simply rotate the microscope head rather than moving the entire instrument.
Specimens are secured to the stage using two practical metal clips. The stage itself moves horizontally and vertically, allowing you to precisely adjust the working area and focus on a small section of the specimen. The focusing mechanism allows for both coarse and fine adjustment of the focus. Most microscopes intended for amateur use do not have this useful feature.
The microscope comes with a special dust cover for convenient storage.

Warning: Please refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110 V device into a 220 V socket, or vice versa, without using a converter. Please note that the mains voltage in the United States and Canada is 110 V, and 220–240 V in most European countries.
