Description

The Levenhuk 2ST microscope is a modern instrument with a long working distance of 60 mm (2.4 inches) and a maximum magnification of 40x. This working distance allows for the observation of relatively large specimens, such as minerals, jewellery, coins and other interesting objects – not just flat specimens and thin slides. The wide range of applications means the Levenhuk 2ST microscope can be used as an educational tool for various scientific subjects and industrial technology, making it the ideal microscope for schools.

Modern stereo microscopes are widely used for high-precision work when observing small objects. They produce 3D images of the objects under observation and enable precise measurements of their dimensions. Such microscopes are invaluable for scientific research and can be used to study archaeological, biological and technological objects, jewellery, antiques and much more. Reliable and versatile, stereo microscopes are ideal for schools and further education institutions.

The optical elements of this microscope are made of highly transparent glass, which enables images of the observed objects to be produced with unprecedented quality. The image is brought into focus by turning the appropriate coarse focus knob on the microscope body. Natural light is used for observations, so you won’t need to spend anything on batteries.

For maximum comfort during observations, the stage plate can be rotated so that it faces upwards, either on the white or black side. Furthermore, handy clamps allow you to secure the specimens in place.

  • Levenhuk Stereo Microscope
  • Binocular head
  • WF10x eyepieces – 2 pcs.
  • 4x objective lenses
  • Double-sided black and white stage plate
