Description

The Levenhuk 5ST microscope is a modern instrument that is ideal for use both at home and in a professional laboratory. Thanks to the long working distance (160 mm, 6.3 inches) of this laboratory microscope, you’ll be able to study anything you like, such as geological samples, jewellery, watches, fabrics, agricultural products and much more.

The optics of this modern measuring microscope produce a high-quality image of the objects under observation, enabling detailed studies of samples and precise measurements of their dimensions.

With a WF10x eyepiece and 2x and 4x objective lenses, this laboratory microscope provides a magnification range of 20x to 40x. The Levenhuk 5ST’s binocular head is tilted at 60 degrees, allowing you to observe samples for long periods without tiring.

The interpupillary distance of the binocular head can be adjusted within a range of 54–76 mm (2.1–3 inches) for added comfort during observations. The image is focused by turning the macrometric focus knob on the microscope body. The top and bottom light sources provide the necessary illumination for your observations.

For much more effective observations, the stage plate can be rotated so that either the black side or the white side faces upwards, to increase the contrast of the specimen being observed.

The kit includes:

  • Levenhuk Stereo Microscope
  • Binocular head
  • 10x eyepieces – 2 pieces
  • Two objective lenses: 2x, 4x
  • Silicone case
  • Opaque glass stage
  • Stage plate with black and white sides
  • Rubber eyecups
  • User manual and lifetime warranty

Warning: Please refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110 V device into a 220 V socket, or vice versa, without using a converter. Please note that the mains voltage in the United States and Canada is 110 V, and 220–240 V in most European countries.

Some of the things you can observe under the microscope:

8-geranium-leaf-epidermis.jpg
11-cyclops.jpg
13-euglena.jpg
15-earthworm.jpg
18-daphnia.jpg

The Levenhuk 5ST microscope is compatible with Levenhuk digital cameras (sold separately). Levenhuk cameras are fitted into the eyepiece tube rather than the eyepiece itself, using the 23.2–30.5 mm adapter included in the kit with each camera.
