The Levenhuk D320L BASE digital microscope is designed for laboratory research in the fields of medicine, biology and biochemistry. It can be used for dermatological, urological and other medical research. Specialists in clinics and hospitals, as well as research laboratories, will appreciate the capabilities of this microscope. The microscope can also be used for seminars or for teaching medical students at colleges and universities.
The microscope features a classic monocular head and a rotating objective holder for four objectives. The kit includes a wide-angle eyepiece and achromatic objectives with different magnifications. The head can be rotated through 360°, allowing the microscope to be used for group observations. The microscope head has a 30° tilt angle, providing additional comfort during prolonged examination of the microscopic world.
The microscope’s magnification range is from 40x to 1000x. When a 100x objective is used, oil immersion can be applied. A bottle of immersion oil is included in the kit. Image sharpness can be adjusted using the coaxial coarse and fine focus adjustment mechanism.
Specimens are placed on a stage with a mechanical scale. Beneath this is an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm. The halogen illumination is situated below it and is powered by an AC power supply. The brightness of the illumination is adjustable. Light filters can be fitted.
The main feature of the Levenhuk D320L BASE microscope is its 3 M digital camera. It allows observations to be recorded as images and videos. The camera is fitted into an optical tube in place of an eyepiece and connected to a computer via a USB cable (included) in real-time mode. An image from the objective lens is transmitted to a computer screen with a resolution of 2048x1536. The kit includes a software CD that enables image and video processing.

Warning: Please refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110 V device into a 220 V socket, or vice versa, without using a converter. Please note that the mains voltage in the USA and Canada is 110 V and 220–240 V in most European countries.
