The Levenhuk D320L PLUS digital microscope is fitted with a 3.1 M video eyepiece, making it suitable not only for visual observations but also for creating digital archives of observations and for delivering seminars and lectures. This microscope is excellent for research in the fields of medicine, biochemistry and others. It will take its rightful place in a scientific laboratory or research institute. A digital camera makes this microscope practical for teaching students at colleges and universities.
The magnification range is 40–1600x. The achromatic objectives provide a sharp and extremely detailed image without aberrations. At maximum magnification, when using a 100x objective, the oil immersion technique can be employed (a bottle of immersion oil is included in the kit). Two wide-angle eyepieces with a pointer allow you to examine samples with complex structures.
The stage is fitted with a mechanical scale, enabling samples to be positioned quickly and precisely under an objective lens. Coarse and fine adjustment knobs are used to optimally adjust the focus of the optics. Beneath the stage is an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm. Below this is the LED illumination with adjustable brightness. The illumination is powered by an AC mains supply or by rechargeable batteries (included in the kit). A single battery charge provides 10 hours of continuous operation.
The microscope’s main feature is its digital camera. It is fitted into the optical tube in place of an eyepiece. A USB cable is used to connect the camera to a computer. The camera provides a real-time image with a resolution of up to 2048x1536 pixels. You can take photographs or record videos. The camera is an excellent solution for recording the key stages of research, creating presentations or video lessons. The digital camera comes with an installation CD, which contains the necessary software and drivers.
