The Levenhuk DTX 350 LCD digital microscope is designed for examining opaque objects, such as coins, electrical circuits, minerals and watch mechanisms. Specialists in service centres, repair workshops and research laboratories will appreciate the features of this microscope. You can use the microscope at home to examine devices or as an introduction to the micro world.
All observations are carried out using reflected light. The top lighting consists of eight LED lights that illuminate the stage. You can adjust the brightness. On the stage, you will find metal clamps for securing samples and measurement scales for calculating the linear dimensions of the samples. Magnification is achieved using a built-in 0.3 MP digital camera. Thanks to interpolation, you can enhance the image quality up to 8 MP. The image is displayed on the built-in LCD screen. You can save your observations as an image or video onto a memory card (included in the kit).
The microscope can be connected to any external device, such as a computer or a projector. If you install the special software (on the CD included in the kit), you will have access to all image processing options – adjusting brightness and contrast, and much more.
This microscope runs on a built-in battery or via a computer’s USB port. It also operates on AC power (the AC adaptor must be purchased separately).

Warning: Please refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to connect a 110 V device to a 220 V socket, or vice versa, without using a converter. Please note that the mains voltage in the USA and Canada is 110 V, and 220–240 V in most European countries.
