The Levenhuk 7S NG microscope is designed especially for school-age children interested in science. A reliable and easy-to-use optical instrument that allows you to explore the micro world at 800x magnification. This magnification is sufficient for carrying out fun biological experiments, observing single-celled organisms and studying microscope slides.
The microscope features a classic illumination system comprising an Abbe condenser, an iris diaphragm and coloured filters. The illuminator consists of a mirror positioned beneath the stage. The design of this optical instrument does not require a mains power supply, making it safer, especially for children.
The optical system of the Levenhuk 7S NG comprises a rotating objective turret with three objectives, each offering a different level of magnification, and two eyepieces; the latter are fitted to the optical tube to adjust the microscope’s magnification and field of view. Slides are placed on the stage. It is fitted with a mechanical scale that allows the slides to be moved along two axes: the X-axis (left–right) and the Y-axis (forward–backward). The coarse and fine focus knobs are used to adjust the sharpness.
The microscope body is made of metal; it is robust, reliable and durable.
