The microscope provides up to 500x magnification, ensuring a superb view of single-celled organisms. This magnification is sufficient for examining microscope slides.

The Levenhuk 5S NG microscope is a simple, reliable and safe optical instrument. The slides are illuminated via a mirror. It requires no mains power or AC current, so the child will not come into contact with electricity. Young explorers can use it independently without any safety concerns. A diaphragm adjustment knob is used to control the intensity of the illumination.

All the microscope’s optical elements are made of glass and are protected by a sturdy metal body. The rotating objective holder has space for three objectives and turns easily. The monocular objective holder allows you to change the eyepieces to achieve the correct magnification. The stage is fitted with standard levers. Focus can be adjusted using the coarse and fine focus knobs.
