Short-sightedness – Isolani, visual wellbeing

I find it hard to drive, recognise people and look at the scenery

An eye is said to be short-sighted when images of objects at infinity do not form on the retina, as they should, but in front of it; as a result, the vision of such objects appears faded and blurred.

A short-sighted person finds it difficult to focus on distant objects, whilst, at close range, their vision is generally sharper.

The distance between the point where the image should form and the point where it actually forms is proportional to the degree of short-sightedness.

The Isolani Optical Institute has always worked closely with ophthalmologists, paying particular attention to optical solutions for people with short-sightedness, both children and adults.
