A wealth of fascinating discoveries awaits your children thanks to the Levenhuk LabZZ MT2 microscope and telescope kit! The kit includes a biological microscope with a set of experiments and a refracting telescope. These user-friendly instruments feature high-quality optics and durable construction. The user guide is written with young explorers in mind, featuring simple, easy-to-understand instructions. The kit is designed for children aged 6 and over. The Levenhuk LabZZ MT2 is also suitable for teenagers who want to have fun exploring the skies and the microscopic world.
Here are the main benefits of this kit:
- The kit is designed for children and teenagers, so it is easy to use and safe to handle
- The telescope is suitable for both astronomical and terrestrial observation
- The erecting eyepiece can be used as a pocket microscope
- The microscope offers a wide range of magnifications
- The kit includes everything you need to become a budding biologist
- Young astronomers will have fun with the glow-in-the-dark stickers
Telescope
The Levenhuk LabZZ MT2 telescope is a refractor that uses a group of lenses to collect and focus light. Its 50 mm objective lens allows it to be used for both astronomical and terrestrial observations.
The telescope comes with two different eyepieces. The H12.5 mm (50x) eyepiece is used to observe astronomical objects, such as the Moon and the planets of the Solar System. The 18 mm erecting eyepiece (35x), on the other hand, is designed to produce an upright image (neither inverted nor reversed) of the observed object, making it practical for terrestrial observations. The erecting eyepiece can also be used as a pocket microscope with a magnification of 14x.
The telescope is mounted on an easy-to-use altazimuth mount, which allows the tube to be moved horizontally and vertically. In addition, a compact tabletop tripod provides a stable and reliable base for our instrument.
Microscope
The Levenhuk LabZZ MT2 microscope is designed for observing transparent specimens. The set includes three objectives with magnifications of 75x, 300x and 900x. A handy objective revolver allows you to switch quickly between magnifications.
To get started, simply place a specimen on the microscope stage, which is situated just above the mirror. If the amount of light reflected by the mirror is insufficient, you can use the built-in illumination system.
The kit includes everything needed to operate the microscope, as well as a comprehensive set of ready-to-use slides and the tools required to prepare new samples.
