Levenhuk LabZZ DM200 LCD Digital Microscope

The Levenhuk LabZZ DM200 LCD is a digital microscope with a vibrant and eye-catching design. Children will appreciate not only the optical capabilities of this microscope, but also its digital features. You can take photographs of specimens, record videos of your investigations and display the images on a computer screen. With this microscope, you can examine just about anything: ready-to-use slides, stones, fabrics, insects, leaves, electronic components and small mechanisms. This microscope model is fitted with a colour LCD screen. The screen diagonal measures 4.3 inches. The displayed image is colourful, bright and offers good contrast. The magnification ranges from 17x to 220x, with an optical magnification ranging from 17x to 22x. Images can be displayed on a computer screen by connecting the microscope via a USB cable and using screen capture software. The microscope is fitted with two light sources: two LED lights, one above and one below. This allows samples of any degree of transparency to be examined. There is a brightness control.

Images and videos are saved to a memory card (sold separately). Image quality is excellent, with photos up to 12 Mpx and Full HD videos. A very handy feature is the ability to take photos and record videos using the wireless remote control.

The microscope can also be powered by its built-in battery, so it can be used away from a power socket.
