The Discovery Basics EK5 is a versatile, pocket-sized kit with six accessories, useful for camping and travelling. The whistle emits high-pitched signals to alert everyone in an emergency. The torch can be used to light up the path ahead in low-light conditions. The compass helps you find your bearings by identifying the cardinal points. With the thermometer, you can check whether the temperatures are suitable. The multi-purpose tool also includes a magnifying glass for examining tiny objects and a small mirror.

All these features are integrated into a single, one-piece tool. The magnifying glass and mirror are hinged on the sides, the compass and thermometer are at the top, whilst the whistle and torch are positioned at either end. The torch’s power button is at the top and the whole unit is powered by a CR1220 battery.
