The Discovery Pico is a monocular microscope with achromatic optics and a swivelling head. It is an excellent choice for conducting basic research into the microcosm, studying biology and carrying out simple experiments. The microscope is useful for students, as well as anyone with an interest in science. The magnification range is from 40x to 400x; it features LED illumination with adjustable brightness and offers both macro and micrometric focus adjustment. It is fitted with glass optical components and has a metal body. The microscope is powered via an AC mains cable or batteries. The kit includes the educational book ‘The Invisible World’ on the wonders of the microcosm. This series includes microscopes in various colours.
