The compact Discovery Range 60 terrestrial spotting scope is an excellent companion for wildlife exploration. This spotting scope is convenient to carry with you on a long journey or a walk, thanks to its outstanding portability. The kit includes a case for protecting and transporting the instrument and a metal tripod that allows you to position the spotting scope on almost any surface. The tripod is essential for high-magnification observations, as it minimises image shake. The tripod can be adjusted using a convenient control knob.
The optical elements are made from BK-7 glass. The lenses have undergone a multi-layer anti-reflective coating which improves image brightness across the entire field of view. The terrestrial telescope’s magnification ranges from 20x to 60x, making it possible to view both very distant objects and large areas with ease.
The long eye relief allows you to observe whilst wearing spectacles. Dioptre adjustment on the eyepiece is also available, so you can see a clear image even if your eyesight is not perfect. A smartphone adapter can also be fitted to the Discovery Range 60.
