The Discovery Range 50 terrestrial spotting scope is an excellent choice for travellers who are always seeking new discoveries. It is a small, lightweight optical instrument, convenient to carry with you on a long walk or during an exciting trip into the wilderness. Thanks to the small tripod, the spotting scope can be set up quickly for observations in any conditions. The carrying case makes it easy to transport and protect the instrument and its accessories.
The optics are made from BK-7 glass. Furthermore, not only the lenses but also the prisms are multi-coated. As a result, the terrestrial spotting scope delivers sharp, detailed and high-contrast images. As this instrument uses a zoom lens, its magnification range varies between 15x and 45x. This allows you to choose the most comfortable viewing angle and quickly shift your focus from the overall landscape to individual distant objects.
The long eye relief, which allows you to observe whilst wearing spectacles, makes the instrument even more comfortable to use. Dioptre adjustment on the eyepiece is also available. The body of the terrestrial telescope is made of plastic and the tripod is made of metal. A handy control knob can be used to point the instrument when it is mounted on the tripod.
It is also possible to fit a smartphone adapter to the Discovery Range 50.
