The Discovery Artisan 32 is a digital microscope with a special stand. This device is perfect for high-precision work, such as coin appraisal, jewellery-making and watch repair, as well as for home use. To view the image captured by the microscope on an external screen, you need to connect the microscope to your PC via a USB cable and install the software (both are included). The microscope allows you to capture and edit images and videos, and measure linear distances, diameters, radii and other quantities.
This microscope is fitted with a 5 MP camera, surrounded by 5 white LEDs. We recommend using the built-in lighting in low-light conditions; its brightness is adjustable. You can view samples at a magnification of 100–300x, which is a truly remarkable range for a microscope intended for practical applications. The focus can be adjusted manually between 0 mm and 150 mm. The maximum image resolution is 2592 × 1944 pixels.
The microscope is mounted on a stand, but can also be used without one. The stage is fitted with two metal clamps and graduated scales. The body of the microscope is protected by a rubber cover. This coating makes it pleasant to the touch, provides a more comfortable grip and protects the device from scratches. The Discovery Artisan 32 is a wonderful digital microscope for both professional and hobbyist use; it is easy to use and offers many useful features.
The microscope is compatible with Windows and Mac OS operating systems. The microscope is powered via a USB cable.
