The Discovery Artisan 16 digital microscope is ideal for examining coins, working with metals, repairing electronic circuits, checking the quality of a blade’s edge, as well as restoring works of art or carrying out highly specialised applied scientific research. This microscope can be used with or without a support arm. To view the image of the object under examination, you need to connect the microscope to a PC. You can view the object under examination on a PC screen, as well as take photos, record videos and carry out linear and angular measurements.

The microscope is fitted with a 2 MP digital camera (in place of the objective lens), which allows you to capture images at a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. The magnification can be adjusted between 20x and 230x; manual focus is available between 0 mm and 150 mm. In low-light conditions, the backlight – consisting of 8 LED lights with adjustable intensity – can be switched on.

The microscope is compatible with Windows and Mac OS operating systems. A USB cable is used to connect it to a PC and to charge the microscope. The body is rubber-coated for a more comfortable grip. The Discovery Artisan 16 digital microscope is extremely easy to use. It is very small, so it does not take up much space on your desk.

Tips for using the software:
