The Discovery Report WA30 weather station with air quality monitor is an essential device for anyone living in urban areas or regions with poor air quality. Its main function is to measure the level of fine particulate matter in the air. This is not ordinary dust: these are smaller particles that do not remain visible on the surface of objects. They are carried by the air and can reach your lungs with every breath you take. Even small amounts of this particulate matter do not pose a health risk, but large quantities can exacerbate conditions such as asthma, cause frequent bouts of bronchitis and other problems. To keep the situation under control, it is advisable to install a weather station with an air quality monitor in your room.
The PM2.5 level is displayed in the centre of the screen. The instruction manual included in the pack explains what the normal parameters are and which readings require your attention. This gadget also features a thermometer and hygrometer to monitor air temperature and humidity levels. The readings for these values appear at the top of the screen. At the bottom, meanwhile, there is a space dedicated to the clock. The screen features a backlight with adjustable brightness (3 levels).
The device has a minimalist and elegant design: the control buttons are positioned on the rear panel so as not to disrupt the clean lines of the design. This weather station with air quality monitor is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery, but can also be powered via the mains using a Micro-USB cable.
