The Discovery Report W30-S remote sensor measures temperature across a very wide operating range. It works effectively at both freezing temperatures and the highest temperatures. It is designed to be used in conjunction with the Discovery Report W30 weather station. Data is transmitted via a radio link, so the main unit and the sensor can be positioned a considerable distance apart without the need for cables.

The sensor can be hung on a wall (there is a wall hook on the rear panel) or placed on a folding stand. It is powered by standard batteries, which are easy to buy in any shop. There is an LED indicator on the front panel and a channel selector switch on the rear panel.
