The Discovery Basics CN10 insect jar is a useful tool for studying flora and fauna. It is a jar with a transparent base and sides, allowing you to observe the collected specimen from various angles. The lid of the jar is not completely transparent, but features a 3x magnifying lens. The jar can hold an insect (flies, beetles, spiders, etc.) or a fish (don’t forget to fill it with water first!) to allow for safe, close-up observation.
The small holes in the lid allow for air circulation, so that the tiny living creatures captured from the world around us do not suffer, even during prolonged observations. As well as insects, minerals, plant parts and soil samples can also be placed in the jar and studied.
Key features:
- A jar with a 3x magnifying lens in the lid
