The Discovery Crafts DGL 40 magnifying glasses are an optical aid that will make working with small objects more comfortable. The interchangeable lenses offer five different magnifications, and the built-in lighting effectively illuminates the work surface. This magnifying device will be a real gem for jewellers, watchmakers, model-makers, restorers and many others. It will prove useful for both professional and hobbyist use.
All lenses are made from optical polymer glass: a highly durable material with a high degree of transparency. The image produced is clear, sharp and high-contrast. The lenses are attached to the spectacle frame, but cannot be combined with one another: only one lens can be used at a time. The lenses have a relatively wide field of view, allowing you to observe objects with both eyes at the same time. If necessary, the temples of the spectacle frame can be removed and replaced with a fabric headband.
Right in the centre of the frame, there is an LED module. The light is battery-powered.
