We are proud to present the Discovery range of optical instruments, manufactured by Levenhuk and sponsored by Discovery.
The Discovery Night ML10 monocular is a digital night-vision device designed for dual use. Unaffected by daylight, this instrument functions as a standard monocular during the day. It is equipped with both a still camera and a video camera. Perfect for night-time hunting, trekking, surveillance and reconnaissance.
Night-time visibility in total darkness extends up to 250 metres
The optical system consists of fully coated glass lenses with a silicon dioxide coating, which ensures bright, vivid and high-contrast images. The device captures crystal-clear images and even the finest details in any lighting condition. At night, the monocular provides a wide field of view within a radius of 250 metres from the observation point. During the day, you can focus on objects from as close as 3 metres. The IR illuminator built into the monocular features brightness control. Invisible to others, the monocular allows you to observe without being seen.
Take photos and record videos at a resolution of 1280x960 pixels
The built-in recorder allows you to capture photos and videos, ensuring vivid images and smooth footage. You can view videos directly on the monocular’s screen or transfer the desired files to an external storage device by connecting the device to your PC via a mini-USB cable. The maximum frame resolution is 1280x960 pixels. The frame rate is 30 fps.
Everything you need for field observation
This instrument’s digital optical system is housed in a waterproof, ergonomically designed body. The monocular ensures a secure grip, and the control buttons are positioned right under the user’s fingers for greater comfort. Standard batteries provide a running time of between 4 and 10 hours (depending on the IR light intensity). The instrument is supplied with a table tripod, ideal for long, stationary observations and for stabilising the image when recording video.
Please note that the instrument can display images in colour, black and white, fluorescent green or with a negative effect. However, the colour image is not available when night mode is active.
