The Discovery Gator 10–30x30 is a compact monocular that allows for observation at 10x and 30x magnification. This instrument produces clear, high-contrast images at every magnification level, ensuring that even the smallest details can be spotted effortlessly. The monocular is easy to carry and can be used to observe nature or architectural landmarks.

The monocular’s multi-coated anti-reflective optics are made from BK-7 glass. The minimum focusing distance is 2.5 metres, meaning that even relatively close objects can be observed. This monocular features a long eye relief and a twist-up eyecup, which are convenient for observing whilst wearing spectacles. The optics are housed in a non-slip frame with a rubber-coated shell for a better grip.

When observing at a magnification of 10x or higher, it is recommended to hold the instrument with both hands or use a tripod to achieve steadier images. The body of the monocular is fitted with a standard threaded socket.
