The Discovery Gator 10–30x50 binoculars have a variable magnification range of 10x to 30x, making them an excellent all-round tool. On the one hand, they are classic field binoculars for hunting and fishing; on the other, they are a powerful optical instrument for detailed observation of very distant objects. Versatile and lightweight, the Discovery Gator 10–30x50 can switch instantly from wide-field viewing settings to long-distance viewing settings with a simple movement of the right hand: the zoom lever on the right-hand eyepiece is used to adjust the magnification.

The binoculars’ optical design is based on classic Porro prisms, made from BK-7 optical glass. Thanks to the fully coated anti-reflective treatment, the optics produce bright, high-contrast images that remain sharp even in low-light conditions, such as at twilight or in bad weather. As with any classic model, the focus is adjusted by turning the central focus wheel. The right-hand eyepiece features an additional function: dioptre correction. The interpupillary distance can also be adjusted. The rubber eyecups enhance comfort during observations. The binoculars can be mounted on a tripod. The rubber coating prevents the binoculars from slipping out of your hands and protects them from dust and moisture.
