The Discovery Flint 10x50 is a versatile pair of binoculars for spotting and observation in open areas. They have a wide range of applications: tracking animals whilst hunting, surveying the terrain near a base camp, securing protected areas, and so on. These 10x binoculars offer a wide field of view and can be mounted on a tripod for extended stationary observations.
The optical design is based on classic Porro prisms and BK-7 glass lenses. The optics feature a fully coated anti-reflective treatment: the elements are coated with numerous layers that enhance the contrast and brightness of the image. All this makes these binoculars perfect for use at twilight and for observations in low cloud conditions.
The central focus wheel and the dioptre adjustment ring on the right-hand eyepiece allow the optics to be adjusted to suit the user’s preferences. It is also possible to extend or retract the eyecups and select the most comfortable interpupillary distance. The body of the binoculars is made of metal, making them more resistant to accidental damage. The sides of the optical tubes feature raised inserts that ensure a firmer grip.
