The Discovery Field 8x42 binoculars are an excellent choice for hunting, trekking, camping and expeditions. Of all the binoculars in the entire collection, these have the widest field of view, allowing you to take in the landscape, determine which direction to take and overcome the various challenges that may arise when travelling through unfamiliar terrain. The optical system, based on standard-sized Porro prisms, offers 8x magnification and bright, high-contrast, lifelike images, thanks to the BK-7 glass lenses with multi-coated anti-reflective coating.
The optics and mechanical components of the Discovery Field 8x42 are waterproof and dustproof, thanks to the rubber-armoured body. The non-slip textured surface prevents the binoculars from slipping out of your hands. The plastic body ensures that this model is lighter than other heavy field binoculars, making it a better companion for longer walks. Focus is adjusted via a central focus wheel. Dioptre adjustment is also possible, and a threaded tripod adapter can be used.
