The Discovery Field 12x50 is the binocular with the highest magnification in this collection, at 12x. This instrument is ideal for open-field observations, whether on sunny days, in cloudy weather or at twilight. They will be particularly appreciated by those carrying out surveillance duties, as well as by hunters, wilderness explorers, and those trekking in the mountains or forests. With their large objective lenses, these binoculars gather a great deal of light. The multi-coated anti-reflective lenses provide a high-contrast, bright and vivid image.

The optical elements of the Discovery Field 12x50 binoculars are made from BK-7 glass, whilst the body is constructed from lightweight yet robust plastic. The rubberised body provides protection against mechanical damage, as well as against moisture and dust ingress. Thanks to the textured outer surface, the binoculars offer a comfortable grip and won’t slip from your hands. The lenses can be adjusted using the convenient central focusing wheel, which is also rubber-coated. If necessary, the dioptre setting can be adjusted to compensate for any difference in vision between the right and left eyes.

For extended observations, the binoculars can be mounted on a tripod – there is a standard 1/4” threaded hole (an adapter can be purchased separately).
