Sight Bonus
On 20 April 2023, the Ministry of Health launched the web platform for managing the Sight Bonus (Bonus Vista).
Istituto Ottico Isolani was one of the first Italian organisations to have signed up for the scheme Sight Bonus or Eyewear Bonus, in the form of a one-off €50.00 voucher towards the purchase of prescription glasses or corrective contact lenses for members of households with ISEE of less than €10,000 per year.
Eligible recipients will be able to apply for the Bonus Vista from 5 May on the website www.bonusvista.it
What is the Sight Bonus?
The Sight Bonus is a grant in the form of a one-off voucher worth €50.00 for the purchase of prescription glasses or corrective contact lenses for members of households with an ISEE of less than €10,000 per year. The bonus can be claimed once per person in the household and can be used for purchases already made in 2021 and 2022 or to be made in 2023.
Beneficiaries will be able to choose between two ways of accessing the grant:
- voucher amounting to €50 for each beneficiary, to be spent within 30 days from the issue by registered retailers;
- a €50 refund for purchases already made from 1 January 2021 to 4 May 2023. The refund is paid directly into the specified bank account by the applicant in the beneficiaries' reserved area.
The voucher is issued when the online application is submitted and is immediately available for use in a single transaction (no change is given). The Bonus Vista is paid out until the funds provided for in paragraph 438 of Law No. 178 of 30 December 2020 are exhausted, namely €5 million for each year - 2021, 2022 and 2023.

How to Use It
Using the Bonus Vista voucher from Isolani is simple:

1. Generate the voucher on the website www.bonusvista.it as per the instructions provided
2. Print out the voucher and take it to one of the our optical centres
Online
1. Generate the voucher on the website www.bonusvista.it as per the instructions provided
2. Add the items you wish to buy to your basket
3. When making your payment, enter the discount code: BONUSVISTA (which will deduct the amount of the voucher)
4. Complete payment of the remaining amount
5. Send an email to eshop@isolani.com or use Contact Us, please enclose a copy of your voucher

It is worth noting that there are certain conditions governing the acceptance and subsequent payment of an ONLINE purchase using the Bonus Vista, in order to comply with the Ministerial regulation:
- The €50 voucher applies ONLY to CONTACT LENSES (so liquids and other accessories are excluded)
- The minimum basket value MUST be more than €50, excluding other products featured on the website and delivery charges
- You must send, AT THE SAME TIME as the order (within 2 hours), an email with a copy of the voucher attached
- The dispatch of your purchase is subject to checking the conditions as mentioned above

The processing time for purchases made using Bonus Vista vouchers will require one additional working day due to the necessary checks.
