Levenhuk Nelson 7x50 Binoculars

The waterproof body reliably protects the lenses from moisture. The 7x magnification is sufficient for detailed observation of distant objects. The 50 mm objective lens gathers a considerable amount of light, thus providing a bright and sharp image.

This model features a classic design, and its optical system is based on Porro prisms. The optical elements are made from high-quality BaK-4 glass. The lenses have undergone an FC treatment with multiple layers of anti-reflective coating, enabling the binoculars to deliver an image with good contrast and minimal optical aberrations.

The plastic body is watertight and protects the lenses from dust and moisture. The rubberised coating on the body provides a secure grip and absorbs accidental knocks. The nitrogen-filled construction prevents the lenses from fogging up. The upward-tilting eyecups provide additional comfort for spectacle wearers.

The Levenhuk Nelson 8x30 marine binoculars feature a waterproof, floatable body: should they accidentally end up in water, they won’t sink and the prisms and lenses won’t be damaged. If you add a brightly coloured Levenhuk FS10 shoulder strap to these binoculars, you’ll never lose them!

The eyepieces have individual focus adjustment, so each optical tube must be set separately. There is no central focus wheel. The binoculars’ body features a special mount for attaching this optical instrument to a tripod.

A distinctive feature of this model is a built-in compass with an LED light and a rangefinder. The LED light is battery-powered. When looking through the eyepieces, you can see the rangefinder’s vertical scale and the compass dial, which is graduated in 1° increments. North is at 360°, south is at 180°, east is at 90° and west is at 270°.

You can calculate the distance to the observed object or its size (height) using a rangefinder. You can calculate an unknown parameter using a special formula. Use the rangefinder readings in the formula.
