The Levenhuk Monaco ED 12x50 binoculars are a powerful, large-aperture optical instrument designed for observation in adverse conditions. Premium-class extra-low dispersion optical elements, a water-resistant design and resistance to extreme temperatures are the key features of this model. These binoculars are perfect for observing wildlife and birds, for studying natural and urban landscapes, as well as for hunting and fishing. Use them for target practice or to survey large areas. The Levenhuk Monaco ED 12x50 are the perfect choice for both amateur and professional observation!
Optics
The optical design of these binoculars is a harmonious combination of compact roof prisms, multi-element eyepieces and objective lenses. All lenses are made from extra-low dispersion glass and protected by several layers of anti-reflective coating. As a result, the optical elements do not distort the image, eliminate optical aberrations and glare, and deliver a sharp, detailed and richly coloured image. The binoculars are suitable for observation in low-light conditions: the optical elements are powerful enough for viewing at sunset, at dawn or on foggy days.
Body material
The optical elements are securely protected by a shock-resistant housing. This is made from plastic that withstands even extreme temperatures and accidental mechanical impacts. The binoculars are coated with a non-slip material to ensure a secure grip. The Levenhuk Monaco ED 12x50 binoculars are nitrogen-filled, a gas that prevents the lenses from fogging up. Thanks to their sealed design, the binoculars are water-resistant: they can withstand rain, snow or brief submersion in water up to 1.5 m (5 ft).
Additional features
The binoculars are easily adjustable to suit your needs. You can adjust the interpupillary distance, make precise dioptre adjustments, adjust the focus and raise or lower the eyecups. The binoculars feature a generous eye relief, making them suitable for use whilst wearing spectacles. The Levenhuk Monaco ED 12x50 can be mounted on a tripod (sold separately).
