Optics

All lenses are made from extra-low dispersion glass and protected by several layers of anti-reflective coating. As a result, the optical elements do not distort the image, eliminate optical aberrations and glare, and deliver a sharp, detailed and richly coloured image. The binoculars are suitable for observation in low-light conditions: the optical elements are powerful enough for viewing at sunset, at dawn or on foggy days.

Body material

The optical elements are securely protected by a shock-resistant housing. This is made from plastic that withstands even extreme temperatures and accidental mechanical impacts. The binoculars are coated with a non-slip material to ensure a secure grip. The Levenhuk Monaco ED 12x50 binoculars are nitrogen-filled, a gas that prevents the lenses from fogging up.
